Recently a few friends and I decided to see what there was to explore around Port Richmond / Kensington. DLISH was in town, so we headed out to the waterfront, two skaters joined us.
Coal Pier.
But we were more interested in seeing what was going on with those partially-abandoned tracks that cut through the heart of Kensington — over Aramingo and the other North-South arterial streets.
After a pit stop, we noticed that things were getting a bit iffy.
At this point we were in the territory of a few different groups, who made it very clear, very quickly, that we needed to get out.
The quickest way out was up. Even in the middle of the day in winter, I wouldn’t suggest this area for wandering around.
